TinyTableauTip – Summer Guest Host Series
Guest Host: Agata Mężyńska – What About that Dinosaur then?
The TinyTableauTip summer series is back with a comeback guest host! I’m excited to welcome Agata back again, with some more cool tips!
📚 Show/Hide Button
In her second part of TinyTableauTip (check my blog/YouTube Channel for previous tips), she is focusing on Show/Hide Button – which you’ve probably used before, but perhaps not this way (with duplicating it, move it somewhere else and then add a new image, both for the new duplicated button and the original one). She’s using her own shapes – including a transparent one. Pretty Neat
🔘 Bonus: Shortcuts for Selection
There are multiple ways to select your marks on a sheet, regardless if it’s a map, scatter plot, line chart etc. Agata show’s how to switch between Circle, Rectangle or the famous Lasso (S, A and D – weird letter combination :D)
And to remember the last one, she’s showing some great artistic skills in the end, worth watching!

👉 Tableau Public
A huge thanks to Agata for joining the summer guest host series and sharing these cool and practical techniques! Stay tuned for the next installment, as we continue highlighting amazing community voices and their favorite Tableau tips.
You can also catch one of her previous sessions that I watched before, this video is recorded during the Analtycis TUG earlier, where she’s talking about: You cannot mix aggregate and non-aggregate…, So what can you do?
