Need to quickly filter your Tableau viz by a specific date range? Here’s a handy trick:

1. Right-click on your date field in the Filters shelf.
2. Select “Show Filter.”
3. Click on the “Relative Date” tab in the filter control that appears.
4. Choose your desired anchor date (e.g., “Today”) and time period (e.g., “Last 3 Months”).

Tableau will automatically filter your view to the selected date range. You can easily adjust the filter by selecting a different anchor date or time period.
