It’s hard to believe we’re already on Day 3 of Tableau Conference 2024 (#TC24) here in sunny San Diego! The energy is electric, the sessions are inspiring, and the swag is piling up (no complaints there!).

Tremendous Tableau Tips: A Must-See for Every Jedi

If you haven’t caught the “Tremendous Tableau Tips” sessions with the amazing Annabelle Rincon & Heidi Kalbe, do yourself a favour and check them out next year. These sessions were packed with practical advice and clever tricks to level up your Tableau game. Give them a like and some feedback in the Conference app so we can get even more tips in 2025!

Tip Battle: Harry Potter Style!

I also had a blast battling it out in the Tip Battle (think Harry Potter meets data visualization). I’m proud to say I made the final round against the incredible Kimly Scott. While I didn’t take home the gold this year, I’m already plotting my strategy for #TC25… # next year!

Talking Tableau User Groups with the Data Fam

One of the highlights of my #TC24 experience was chatting with Laura Ward about Tableau User Groups (TUGs) on her “DataFam Explained” podcast. If you’re passionate about Tableau and haven’t joined your local TUG, I highly recommend it! It’s the best way to connect with fellow data enthusiasts, share knowledge, and learn new skills. (It’s also a lot of fun – trust me, #tuglife is real!)

What’s Next?

There are still so many great sessions and discussions ahead, and I’m excited to meet even more amazing people who make up the #datafam. I’m already looking forward to #TC25 right back here in San Diego next year!
