Wow! I’m still pinching myself. Being nominated for the Hyperight Nordic 100 list for Data, Analytics, and AI is an absolute thrill. This isn’t the final award (winners are announced in December!), but it’s a huge honour. The list recognizes the brightest minds in our field – those who are truly pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with data and AI. To even be considered for this list is incredibly humbling.
I want to extend my sincerest thanks to Hyperight AB for this recognition. It means the world to me. And, of course, a massive shoutout to my amazing colleagues at Inmeta, especially Andrew Skulstad-Watson and Frank Kjaervoll. Your support for my sometimes wild ideas and encouragement of personal development means everything.
This nomination isn’t just about me, though. It reflects the incredible #datafam community that has supported me throughout my career. Whether it’s been through attending my Tableau trainings, connecting at conferences, or simply sharing insights online, your passion and camaraderie have fueled my journey.
And, of course, none of this would be possible without the love and support of my family. You’ve always been my biggest cheerleader, and I’m so grateful.
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to spend over 20 years in this field, training over 3500 people across 16 countries. Data and AI can transform businesses and lives, and I’m passionate about empowering others to harness that power.
This nomination reminds me that I’m on the right track. It motivates me to keep pushing forward, learning, and sharing my knowledge with the #datafam. There’s still so much more I want to achieve in the years to come!
Keep your fingers crossed for the final announcement in December. In the meantime, let’s toast the future of data and AI! Let’s continue to innovate, collaborate, and inspire each other to build a brighter future.
